Technology Assessment

Technology may be used in three basic ways.  The technology assessment process will help determine a school's readiness to use technology in a restructured environment.

Do your teachers have the basic technology skills?

Do they know how to translate those skills into effective classroom practices?

OII assessment tools will allow you to answer these these and other critical questions for each of your teachers.

OII has a variety of tools deliverable via paper and pencil, web forms, or dedicated applications that run on your net work.

Start with OII's basic skills assessments to establish baseline data from which to measure growth. Add OII's Technology Integration Survey to determine how effectively these skills are being using in the curriculum and to extend the baseline data.

Use this data to effectively plan and implement professional development through combinations of OII online tutorials and professional development offerings, along with your own professional development institutes.
