 Hi folks!

As we cross lines, of space or time, we are afforded opportunities to alter (or at least examine) our direction, speed, or purpose. At this time, rather than sound  my own note, I'll echo one that came to me as a gift. My friend Jean gave me a book (You Can't Be Neutral on a Moving Train, by Howard Zinn) that was one person's reflection on our times. I feel it needs hearing, considering what I'm reading in the news of our world, and on some of these lists.

I care far more for the individual actions we are taking to create positive results for real people than I do about the beliefs, memberships, foibles or phobias that may accompany the "actors". The work before us, so far largely undone, largely unclaimed, begs for the hands of goodwill and understanding from any quarter.

Please look upon any multiple copies of this posting that may reach you as evidence that reiterates how much we care in common.

In your year to come, working through many *nows*, PEACE

 Ferdi
