During my investigation I was talking on the phone with a high tech law firm who was working with me on the possibility of pursuing a class action law
suit against a filtering company. At the end of the conversation they asked me to critique their newly designed web site at http//www.archerlaw.com and guess what? That's right. IT WAS BLOCKED.
But it gets better. After Seth Finkelstein read about the incident, he did some digging and found out that Archerlaw.com was just one of 247 sites being
blocked with a single entry in the CyberNot list. The most notable organization being blocked was the State Chapter of the New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police.
All 247 were blocked in the categories of Sex Acts, Nudity, and Partial Nudity!
