Hi Gang, Today's update is short even though there were more reports than on previous days. That's because I'm getting ready to move this out to other lists even before our 7 day experiment is completed. I'm build a web site to go along with the report page you have been using. When the page is announced the reporting page will be relocated to http//oii.org/html/overblocking.html , but don't worry if you have the old page bookmarked. It will still work. You can get an advanced look at the site by going to http//oii.org/html/filtering.html and check out my idea of what the fly swatter would look like if it had been invented by a filtering company. http//oii.org/html/fsmanual.html Today's gems K.G. made a report that I just had to turn into a mock headline Friendly Filter Blocks Bible for Hate Messages I asked you to be creative about your nicknames and this takes the prize so far. Chubby McReference reports that the Smartstuff.....Safeserver blocked her when she was attempting to get a few Weight Watcher recipes for dinner at http//www.angelfire.com/journal/wwrecipes/index.html. The reason the filter gave was Pornography. Hey to me that's understandable. We should all know how sensuous food can be. Didn't you watch Tom Jones? (The movie, not the singer.) Take care, Art [ Previous ] [ Filtering Home ] [ Next ] |
