The Internet is not a library, and users who approach the Internet expecting organized access to quality information are quickly frustrated.  By subscribing to the CybraryCard™, individuals will develop and apply skills of Information Literacy to improve their personal and professional lives. Discovering that their competitiveness depends on timely access to valid information, businesses have invested vast sums in corporate information systems, complete with intranets and trained professionals. Individuals (students, parents and educators) typically don't have access to these databases, nor the skills to find and harness the information gems hidden in the multitude of data sent their way by search engines. The OII Public Cybrary is your portal to the current and archived collective knowledge of our learning organization and to many of the products that we have created since our formation in 1995.  The public section of the Cybrary houses the archives of presentations made by OII members in local,  regional, and national conferences, along with publications, tutorials, the National Professional Development Library (archived) , and much more.

OII's CybraryCard and your personal learning account are the keys to developing information literacy skills, accessing online courses and tutorials, and contacting professional Cybrarians and mentors who will guide you and your online growth.
