When a search engine returns a list of items retrieved, each item is called a hit. .hqx

A hyperlink is a word or graphic, that when clicked on, causes something to happen. Usually it will
jump you to another document or another location on the same document. It could also play a sound file, or cause any number of other things to happen. Hyperlinks are usually blue and underlined before they are clicked on and
