Basic Bookmark Techniques for Netscape 4.x

With all of the millions of places to visit on the web and with URL's longer than the Mississippi river, how do you keep track of where you've been? How do you get  back to a place you visited last week? How can you catalog your favorite places? How do you get where you want, when you want? The answer to these, and many other questions is bookmarks.

Bookmarks are MUCH more than place holders. They can be electronic 3 x 5 cards for research. You can organize them into file folders for holding similar resources. They can be a travelog of your journeys through cyberspace and more...

Bookmarks allow you to create your own catalog of places to visit. You can have one long set of bookmarks or many smaller sets that are cataloged by a master set. However you plan to build your bookmark empire, it all starts with the basic  building block, the single bookmark.
